The Department of Business Management is one of the finest departments of the Faculty of Management Studies of the Rajatata University of Sri Lanka. The department currently offers the Bachelor of Science Honors in Business Management degree program which is a four-year study program consisting of eight semesters of teaching and learning. . During the program, students shall undergo a one-month internship and six months of industrial training to get practical exposure with the aim of equipping students with the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes in order to produce high-quality, innovative graduates in the field of business management.
Our History
Our department was established at the beginning of the University of Rajarata in 1996, with the aim of equipping students with the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes in order to produce high-quality, innovative graduates in the field of business management who are capable of holding managerial positions in private and public sector organizations. Over the years period, we have made skilled full Scholars, Entrepreneurial Leaders, Professionals, Global Citizen and sustainability agents to the society.
