One of BITSA’s most successful events to date is the “PIXELEYE 3.0,” which was held in September 2022. This event was designed to bring undergraduate students from all over Sri Lanka together to showcase the latest advancements in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The event was highly successful and received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees.
In addition to the “PIXELEYE 3.0,” BITSA organizes a variety of events throughout the year, such as the RUIZ-G online gaming competition, BITCODE online coding competition, Themagulaka Seya online photography event, and DOT event. These events provide students with the opportunity to learn from experts in their field, work with peers on collaborative projects, and enhance their technical skills.
Furthermore, BITSA provides a mentorship program for first-year students, which matches them with experienced graduates, upper-year students, and academic staff who offer guidance and support throughout the academic year. This program has been invaluable for many students, particularly for those who are new to the IT program and looking to make connections with their peers. Overall, BITSA has become an indispensable part of the Faculty of Management Studies at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka community, providing students with a wealth of opportunities to learn, network, and grow. BITSA’s steadfast commitment to promoting the interests of IT students has enabled numerous students to succeed, and it will continue to do so in the future.
