The student who has submitted a valid medical certificate for a particular course will be considered as a proper candidate once the certificate is approved by the Faculty Medical Certificate approving Board and the Faculty Board.An original medical certificate should be submitted along with the stipulated form to the examination branch within 14 days from the examination date of the respective course.

As per the UGC Circular No. 978 on 09.04.2012, students who wish to request for re-scrutinization of marks and grades, are requested to submit their applications in appropriate application form to the Senior Assistant Registrar/Examinations (Faculty of Management Studies) during the two weeks of noticed / released results. Please note that a student has to pay Rs. 500/= per course/subject for verification of the marks and grades. The specimen application form can be obtained from the Examinations Branch university web site. For further details please refer UGC Circular No. 978 payments should be make to the bank A/C No 008-1-001-8-1725841 of the peoples bank, Anuradhapura Branch.

Applying for detailed certificates

Every Student needs to apply for the detailed certificate by handing over an application to the Examinations branch. A duly completed application should be sent along with the bank receipt of the payment.

Please note that certificates are issued only after the minimum period of at least one week upon the receipt of the application and availability of approved results at the Examinations Branch. However, it could be varied depending on the number of certificates to be issued.

Collecting the Detailed Certificates

The student comes in person to collect the detailed certificate. You are required to bring the student record book or the student identity card.

The certificate will only be sent to given address by registered post only if the applicable postage (with self-addressed envelope) for registration is paid along with fee for the certificate when submitting the application.

  • Semester Results Sheets.

After the Board of Examiners, results are displayed in the notice board at the Examinations branch. Then the results are submitted to the senate. After confirmation from the senate, the students will be eligible to collect the semester wise Results Sheets from the Examinations Branch. The results sheets will be issued only to the student and no one else can collect the results sheets on behalf of the student. The student should bring the Student ID/Student Record Book with them to collect the results sheets.

** At present, the semester result sheets are not issued due to economic crisis of the university/country.

  • Academic Transcript. Download

The students who need to apply for academic transcripts by completing and submitting the “transcript Request Form” in the website of the faculty.

  1. To obtain an Addresses transcript, Candidate is required to send the following documents and details through email (exam.fms@mgt.rjt.ac.lk for undergraduate, exam@mgt.rjt.ac.lk for postgraduate) or by post.
  2. Receiver’s Address
  3. Duly filled application with signature
  4. Payment Slip
  5. Copy of the request letter of the recognized organization
  • Transcripts are sent only to the Universities, Ministries, Embassies or any other recognized institutes. Transcripts  are not issued direct to the applicant or person as they are of confidential nature.
  • Fee.

Local Transcript                         : Rs. 500/=

Foreign Transcript                     : Rs. 2500/=

Email                                        : Rs. 500/=

Each Application must be accompanied by bank Receipt Account No: -008-1-001-8-1725841 – People’s Bank, Anuradhapura

Foreign Applicant can pay cash via swift transfer to above bank account using following details;

Payment should be paid to the account number mentioned above indicating your registration number, name and purpose.
